The Crossroads has taken me the best part of twenty years to write. It is finished, and currently going through an editing process. But before it reaches that stage I'm looking for readers who are willing to give it some of their time and share their honest thoughts. I'm happy to return the favour.
As a story, I guess it could best be described as what would happen if Monty Python and John Wyndham wrote an episde of Black Mirror. It's got bits of sci-fi, dystopian fiction, satire, melodrama; it's a little dark in places but I've got a sense of the ridiculous and I think that comes through. In short: it's a story about a normal guy who meets the Devil and is sent on a mission to save the world from itself. Give it a whirl - what's the worst that could happen?
None of it was written by AI, though I've used it recently to discuss structural questions and catch the occasional typo. The ideas, characters, and world are mine, and have been for a very long time!
